Yamdu

We don't want you to waste time manually transferring information from Yamdu in order to make a budget externally.

With our integration with Showbiz Budgeting, you can simply export information from your shooting schedule in Yamdu and import it to Showbiz to start your calculations for cast, extras, props, costumes, vehicles and everything else you need.

In the following steps, we will show you how you can easily transfer data from Yamdu to Showbiz. 

In Yamdu, navigate to the shooting schedule you want to export

Open the extended menu (···) and click Download for Showbiz Budgeting

Open a budget in Showbiz Budgeting

Navigate to File, then Import

In the File format dropdown menu select Yamdu Scheduling, select your target phase and then click Import. Make sure you open a budget or create a new one before importing.

You can now browse the scenes from your Yamdu schedule and add anything you want to your budgeting. You can decide if you want to add all usage or just for specific shooting days

After clicking Add To Budget a new window appears in which you can select Phase / Account and add or edit further details of the budget entry before importing it by clicking OK

1. In Yamdu, navigate to the shooting schedule you want to export
